I have authored 3 books, including  The Exspiravit Protocol (The Bulldog files Book 1)   The Lazarus Directive (The Bulldog files Book 2) and Getting Home Safely: A Teen Story About Bullying, Fear and Smart Choices (The Tom Morgan Series Book 1). 

I have been a teacher of inner city school children for over 30 years so I have seen first hand bullying scenarios that inevitably plague middle and high school students. 

I have seen, as both a blackbelt in Kajukenbo Tum Pai and as a teacher that true empowerment against bullying is achieved by becoming competent in self defense. This was my motivation for writing Getting Home Safely.

I gained a Masters degree in Microbiology from Cardiff University, Wales and published peer reviewed research papers, then  I served in the British Army Reserves from 1992 to 2000  when I moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My passion for fishing, my military experience and scientific education allowed me to write The Exspiravit Protocol and The Lazarus Directive with true authenticity.

 Now retired, I continue to enjoy life fishing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and have discovered a passion for writing — bringing stories to the page that draw directly from my life experiences in science, military service, and the classroom.
